1. Registrar and Registry Relationship
VeltrixHost acts as the reseller/customer-facing provider for domain orders. NameSilo is the upstream ICANN-accredited registrar for supported registrations. By ordering a domain, the registrant agrees that applicable NameSilo registration terms, ICANN policies, registry policies, UDRP/URS procedures and law may also apply.
2. Availability and Registration
Search results are informational and can change between search and registry submission. A domain is not registered until the upstream registrar/registry confirms completion. VeltrixHost is not liable for a domain becoming unavailable before completion.
3. Registrant Contact Information and Verification
The registrant must provide current, complete and accurate contact information and keep it updated. Registrars and registries may require email or identity verification. Failure to complete required verification can lead to hold, suspension or cancellation under applicable registrar/ICANN rules.
4. Renewals, Expiration and Redemption
Customers are responsible for renewing domains before expiration. Reminder emails are a convenience and should not be the only method used to track expiration. Expired domains may stop resolving, enter grace/redemption periods, incur restoration fees, be auctioned or become available to third parties depending on the TLD and registrar process. Recovery is not guaranteed.
5. Transfers
- Incoming and outgoing transfers can require the domain to be unlocked and an authorization/EPP code to be provided.
- ICANN or registry rules may impose transfer locks, including locks after recent registrations, transfers or certain registrant changes.
- A transfer may fail because of expiration state, pending dispute, incorrect authorization, registrar lock, registry status or other policy conditions.
- Customers should start transfers well before expiration; VeltrixHost cannot guarantee completion by a specific date.
6. Domain Refunds
VeltrixHost does not provide refunds after a registration, renewal, restoration or transfer has completed, even if an upstream registrar might offer a separate cancellation window to its direct retail customers. VeltrixHost’s reseller refund terms apply to the VeltrixHost transaction. Failed transactions that never complete may be refunded or credited where the registry/registrar charge is reversed.
7. Domain Abuse and Disputes
Domains may be suspended, locked, cancelled or transferred when required by ICANN policy, registry rules, registrar abuse rules, UDRP/URS decisions, court orders, applicable law, payment fraud findings or verified security abuse such as phishing/malware. Copyright or trademark disputes are not automatically decided by VeltrixHost; complainants should use the appropriate hosting, registrar, registry, UDRP/URS or court process for the issue.
8. WHOIS / Registration Data Privacy
Privacy/proxy availability varies by TLD, registry rule and registrar policy. Privacy services do not remove the registrant’s legal responsibilities and may be disabled or disclosed where required by valid policy or legal process.
9. Customer Responsibility for Domain Control
The customer must protect account credentials, registrar locks, EPP codes and administrative email access. VeltrixHost is not responsible for a transfer or change authorized through compromised customer credentials where VeltrixHost has used reasonable security controls.
Domain registration does not grant trademark, copyright or other third-party rights in a name. Customers must verify their right to use a domain and respond to legitimate registrar verification, dispute-resolution and abuse requests. Hosting cancellation does not automatically cancel a separately billed domain, and transferring a domain does not automatically migrate its website or email.
These website policies are intended to state VeltrixHost’s service rules clearly. Mandatory law may create rights or obligations that cannot be excluded by contract. If a requirement is important to your order, contact VeltrixHost before payment.
