Offshore Hosting: What It Means
Offshore hosting means using hosting infrastructure in a country or jurisdiction selected for location, privacy, connectivity, resilience or operational reasons. It may include offshore web hosting, offshore shared hosting, offshore VPS and offshore dedicated servers.
Offshore hosting does not provide immunity from law, court orders, datacenter rules, upstream network requirements or VeltrixHost policies. Illegal activity, fraud, scams, phishing, credential theft, malware, abusive spam, attacks and other prohibited conduct are not allowed on VeltrixHost services.
1. Products Covered and Policy Framework
These service-specific terms cover every VeltrixHost product: offshore shared web hosting, offshore WordPress hosting, offshore Linux and Windows VPS, Linux and Windows SMTP VPS, offshore dedicated servers in every location, 10Gbps and 25Gbps servers, gaming, GPU and streaming servers, SMTP dedicated servers, domains and associated add-ons.
Read these terms with the Terms & Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy and the specifications on your confirmed order. Product features and permitted usage apply only to the plan purchased; availability on one product does not extend to every service.
3. Offshore Linux VPS and Windows VPS
Linux and Windows VPS provide virtualized resources and the access stated on the order. Unmanaged services place operating-system, firewall, application and data administration with the customer.
- Protect root, administrator and RDP access; apply security updates; maintain lawful licenses and independent backups.
- Use only the allocated resources. Do not bypass virtualization controls, access another customer’s data or interfere with the host node.
- Windows editions, licensing and application compatibility are limited to the purchased configuration. Customer-supplied software must be licensed for its intended deployment.
- A standard Linux or Windows VPS does not inherit SMTP product features. Confirm port requirements on the specific plan before ordering.
- Scanning and security testing require authorization from the systems’ owners and must not harm other services.
4. Linux and Windows SMTP VPS
SMTP VPS products provide port 25 open, all ports open by default and client-panel PTR/rDNS management for assigned IP addresses. Linux plans provide root access; Windows plans provide the access stated on the order. These technical features remain subject to the AUP, security controls and applicable network requirements.
Customers configure and operate their own mail software, DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, queues and recipient records. PTR/rDNS updates are subject to valid hostnames, allocated-address control and DNS propagation. The ability to set a record is not an inbox-placement guarantee.
- Send legitimate transactional messages or marketing to recipients who have given valid permission. Retain consent records and evidence of the relationship supporting the message.
- Use truthful sender details, routing headers and subject lines. Include required sender identification, a valid postal address where applicable and an effective unsubscribe mechanism.
- Honor withdrawals, suppression requests and complaints within applicable deadlines; remove hard bounces and investigate unusual sending patterns.
- Purchased, scraped, harvested or guessed lists, phishing, deceptive messages, open relays and sending designed to evade blocks are prohibited.
- You are responsible for employees, applications, resellers, clients and third-party mailing providers using your service. Outsourcing a campaign does not remove those responsibilities.
- Port access and IP reputation may be restricted while credible abuse is investigated. Additional IPs must not be used to continue abusive sending after a block.
VeltrixHost supplies infrastructure, not recipients, consent, campaign approval or guaranteed delivery. Read the Anti-Abuse Policy before starting a mailing workload.
5. Offshore Dedicated Servers and Specialist Configurations
These terms apply to dedicated and bare-metal servers in every listed location. Hardware, connectivity, traffic allowance, management and delivery commitments are those stated in the confirmed order. Unless management is expressly purchased, you administer and secure the server.
- Standard and location-based servers: deployment depends on confirmed stock and datacenter availability. Hardware maintenance or migration may be needed to restore service; any material substitution should be agreed before delivery.
- 10Gbps and 25Gbps servers: port speed describes the connection capacity, not guaranteed end-to-end throughput. Unmetered transfer applies only where the order expressly includes it and remains subject to its network commitment and fair-use rules.
- Gaming servers: customers obtain game-server licenses, protect player information and moderate their communities. Latency depends on player location and external routes; DDoS protection is included only where the order states it.
- GPU servers: use the ordered GPU allocation and lawful software, models and datasets. Benchmark results, training times and application outcomes are not guaranteed. Mining requires any approval specified by the plan or provider.
- Streaming servers: customers must hold the rights to distribute all media, channels and streams and comply with any territorial licensing restrictions. Server access does not grant broadcasting or retransmission rights.
- SMTP dedicated servers: port 25, IPv4 ranges, /24 subnet allocations and PTR/rDNS arrangements must be confirmed in the quote. The mailing requirements in section 4 apply equally to these servers. Additional address space remains subject to availability, justification and abuse controls.
An IPv4 allocation is a right to use assigned addresses with the active service, not ownership of the range. A /24 describes the allocation size; usable customer addresses depend on routing and the agreed configuration. Do not announce, lease onward or transfer an allocation without written authorization.
6. Domain Registration, Renewal and Transfers
VeltrixHost resells domain services fulfilled through NameSilo or another designated ICANN-accredited registrar. The customer remains responsible for complying with applicable registrar, registry, ICANN, UDRP/URS and local-law requirements.
- Domain availability is not guaranteed until the registry confirms the registration.
- Registrant contact information must be accurate and may require email or identity verification.
- Registration, renewal and completed transfer fees are non-refundable under VeltrixHost policy once the transaction has completed.
- Transfers may be subject to registry or ICANN locks, authorization-code requirements and waiting periods.
- A domain may be suspended, cancelled or transferred as required by registry policy, ICANN process, court order, applicable law or registrar abuse requirements.
7. Upstream Provider Requirements
VeltrixHost may enforce technical, network, abuse, verification or legal requirements imposed by the infrastructure or registrar provider used to deliver a service. If an upstream provider requires urgent action to protect a network or comply with law, VeltrixHost may act before receiving a customer response.
Customer access to panels, APIs, reboot, reinstall, rescue mode or DNS controls does not authorize access to other accounts or changes outside the assigned service. Reinstallations and destructive panel actions can permanently erase data. Protect API credentials and authorize only trusted users.
Control-panel licenses, operating-system licenses, extra IPs, storage, backup options and managed work are supplied only as specified in the order. Third-party license conditions apply. Do not share, circumvent or resell a license beyond its permitted scope.
8. Delivery, Support and Refund Eligibility
Delivery occurs when the ordered usable account, panel, server access or service resource is provided. Check the configuration and report any material provisioning error promptly so support can investigate. Reporting a fault does not waive any non-excludable legal remedy.
Support covers the purchased service and any expressly agreed managed work. Customer applications, campaigns, content, software licenses and independent backups remain the customer’s responsibility unless the order states otherwise.
An eligible refund request must arrive while the service is both unactivated and undelivered. Activated or delivered services are non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Cancellation of an active service does not create a prorated refund. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
These website policies are intended to state VeltrixHost’s service rules clearly. Mandatory law may create rights or obligations that cannot be excluded by contract. If a requirement is important to your order, contact VeltrixHost before payment.
